Soper Group Participates in Biomedical Sciences Symposium

Members of the Soper group at the University of Kansas participated in the Biomedical Sciences Symposium on April 12, 2018 in KU’s School of Pharmacy. The Biomedical Sciences Symposium is an annual meeting created in 2018 as a joint effort between the Higuchi Biosciences Center, the NIH-sponsored Chemical Biology Training Program, and the NIH-sponsored Biotechnology Training Program to provide a forum for trainees to present their work as poster or oral presentations and to cover special topics with invited outside speakers. This meeting, organized by the training programs trainees, features student presentations in the morning followed in the afternoon by two keynote lectures from internationally recognized biomedical science researchers and a poster session. HBC Investigators, their students and research staff are invited to attend, and encouraged to participate in the poster session, including researchers affiliated with the various core facilities in the biomedical sciences.
Complete information about the symposium schedule can be found here.
