Proteoglycan Research Journal Publishes New Article from Dr. Hall
Volume 2, Issue 4 of the journal Proteoglycan Research features a new article from Dr. Adam Hall and fellow researchers at the Wake Forest University School of Medicine, University of Oklahoma Health Services Center, and Texas A&M University. "High‐fidelity and iterative affinity extraction of hyaluronan" was co-authored by Dorothea A. Erxleben, Felipe Rivas, Ian Smith, Suruchi Poddar, Paul L. DeAngelis, Elaheh Rahbar, and Adam R. Hall.
This article details an more optimized protocol for the isolation of glycosaminoglycan hyaluronan (HA), a type of polymer which serves a wide variety of crucial functions in vertebrates and can act as potential biomarkers of pathophysiology. The research made use of a specialized microfluidic device for the capture and analysis of these HA molecules.
