Nature Biotechnology Journal Publishes New Article on Ovarian Cancer Cells with Contributions from Dr. Godwin

The journal Natural Biotechnology has published a comprehensive new article on ovarian cancer cells, utilizing specimens from provided by Dr. Andrew Godwin, banked at the Biospecimen Repository Core Facility at the University of Kansas Medical Center.

The extensive study details the mechanics by which ovarian cancer cells out-compete and eliminate fibroblasts in a cellular environment and investigated antibodies which can produce a more favorable environment for healthy cells. These findings have significant implications in both cancer treatment and diagnosis.

The full article, titled "Ovarian tumor cells gain competitive advantage by actively reducing the cellular fitness of microenvironment cells" and full list of authors can be found on the Nature Biotechnology website.
