CBM² participated in the Carnival of Chemistry, November 24, 2019, which was hosted by the KU Department of Chemistry and the KU Chemistry Club. The CBM² group gave a hands-on demonstration to school children and their families of how to fabricate a microfluidic chip. Kids were able to mold a microfluidic channel in play dough to see how plastic is molded into microfluidic chips. They then got to fill a real microfluidic chip with colored dye to see how the microfluidic channel fills during an experiment.
